Terms of Service

1. What Submanagr is

Submanagr (“Submanagr”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile app that helps you track your subscriptions and split shared ones with people you already know. Submanagr is a ledger and a trust layer — not a payment service. We record who owes what and deep-link you into your own payment app (such as Revolut, PayPal, Venmo, IRIS, or a bank transfer) with the amount prefilled. We never hold, move, store, or process your money, and we are not a party to any payment you make.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Submanagr. You’re responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for the activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use the service.

3. Groups, invites and splits

Submanagr lets you create groups around a subscription, invite others, and divide the cost. The amounts, splits, and “paid / confirmed” states you see are a record you and your group maintain — they reflect what members and the group leader mark, not a verified movement of funds. You and your group are responsible for the accuracy of those records and for actually paying each other through your chosen payment method.

Only invite people you know and who expect to hear from you. Invite links may have expiry or usage limits set by the group leader.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Submanagr for anything unlawful, or to harass, defraud, or chase strangers for money;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or groups that aren’t yours;
• disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure;
• upload content you don’t have the right to share.

5. No financial or debt-collection service

Submanagr is not a bank, money transmitter, escrow, payment processor, or debt-collection agency. Reminders and nudges are convenience features for friends-and-family arrangements; they are not collection on our behalf. Any dispute about who owes what is between you and the people in your group.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Submanagr reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Submanagr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any money you do or don’t get paid back by other people. The service helps you keep track — settling up is between you and them.

8. Termination

You can stop using Submanagr and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
